With over a decade of experience in the property industry, Lucy brings a wealth of knowledge and an unmatched level of passion to her role. Her expertise spans both corporate estate agencies and running her own successful business, giving her a deep understanding of the market and a unique ability to deliver exceptional service.

Having worked alongside Aroha Properties for some time, Lucy found herself drawn to our ethos and values. She connected so strongly with our approach that she made the exciting decision to officially join us, as both Sales Manager and Partner. Her decision reflects not only her belief in what we do, but also her commitment to helping us grow and thrive.

In her personal time, Lucy enjoys spending quality time with her family, going for runs with her children, keeping active through personal training, and embracing a lifestyle that prioritises selfcare and wellbeing.

Scott James

Senior Sales Agent & Partner

Scott brings a strong background in both the property industry and customer facing management roles, making him a valuable asset to the Aroha team. As our Senior Property and Media Agent and a Partner in the business, Scott plays a key role in driving the growth of our Sales, and Media/Marketing departments.

His blend of property expertise and strategic marketing insight allows us to offer a dynamic, responsive, and results driven service to our clients. Scott is passionate about delivering a tangible experience one that’s not only efficient but also rooted in genuine care and professionalism.

In his personal time, Scott has surprised us all with his creativity through hands on projects anything building related. Scott's DIY skills include completing his own loft conversion, fitting kitchens, tackled major garden transformations, and even helped paint and decorate the Aroha office during our move. Scott also loves running with his children and making the most of family days out.

Gemma Blake

Administration & Property Agent

Gemma is the backbone of our office operations here at Aroha. With previous experience at a management level, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a standout skillset in both customer relations and administration.

Gemma ensures the smooth running of the office, often holding the fort while the rest of the team are out assisting clients. She plays a crucial role in staying on top of all administrative tasks, particularly the paperwork involved in both Lettings and Sales.

Her organisation, professionalism, and friendly approach make her an invaluable part of the Aroha team.

Outside of work, Gemma enjoys winding down by watching rugby or catching the latest Grand Prix two passions that keep her just as focused and engaged as she is in the office. She’s also a busy mum to two teenagers, which keeps life at home just as full and lively as it is at Aroha!

Alaina Scriven'Risbey

Lettings & Property Agent

Alaina is a key member of our Lettings team, bringing both professional expertise and first-hand experience as a landlord herself. Her Indepth knowledge of the property industry gives her a unique perspective and allows her to offer practical, well-rounded support to both landlords and tenants.

Highly organised and detail-driven, Alaina is also a wizard with spreadsheets keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes and ensuring nothing gets overlooked.

Outside of work, Alaina is a dedicated wife and mum who loves spending quality time with her family. Alongside her role at Aroha, she also manages her own commercial and personal lettings portfolio, further strengthening her real-world understanding of the property market.

Georgia Mapps

Property & Sales Negotiator

Georgia began her journey with Aroha as a trainee sales agent and has quickly grown into her role with confidence and skill. Her strong work ethic, professionalism, and natural warmth make her a valued part of our team and a pleasure for clients to work with.

With a background in customer-facing roles and a degree in Criminology, Georgia brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to property. She impressed us from the start selling her first house within just a few weeks of joining the company!

Outside of work, Georgia enjoys taking care of her friend’s beloved sausage dogs, spending quality time with her younger siblings, and making the most of her time off with holidays whenever she can.

We’re incredibly proud of how far Georgia has come and excited to see her continue to thrive as part of the Aroha team.
